This is a bit of a frustrating bug report. As noted on the front page, the PX-777 has not been converted yet, because we haven't had any users with this model able to help with the conversion. Per the IssueInstructions you indicated that you read, we need a debug log and clear description of what "does not work". If we were able to test and see it didn't work, we'd have fixed it already.
Please provide a description of what "does not work" and include a debug.log
and I'll be glad to try to resolve your issue.

It doesn't look like I can email my response. But here is what I tried to email in response:

Subject: RE: [CHIRP - Bug #11259] Puxing PX-777
I’m so sorry. I am brand spaking new to radio. I was told that the PX-777 probably had an older chirp version that worked. Sorry about that.
Problem occurs when:
I try to download an img of the radio
Everything looks fine, but when the progress bar completes, the dialog just disappears and the img file does not appear. It’s as if I did nothing at all.
I hope this helps explain.
Thank you,

Hi Mike,
Your radio is reporting frequency limits that the driver hasn't been programmed to handle, hence the error message.
Could you provide a picture of the ID sticker on the back of the radio, behind the battery?

Hi there i have been having the same issue with my PX-777 i added my debug file and ill include the tag info requested last as i did not see one added to the ticket and it still appears to be open. I would also be able to assist with the testing of the PX-777 if desired
cheers
