Hi, can you please ad a JIANPAI 8800UV to CHIRP please. Thanks
Phil G8PJH
- Subject changed from New Radio to Jianpai 8800UV
"Dual band 10W handheld, 16 channels, with GPS"
isn't it the same as Radtel RT-490 #9665 and Ruyage UV9D ?
Hi. My research says so. But the latest build with any of the pl files is not working properly.
The radio did not accept program mode after five tries.
Check you interface cable and power cycle your radio.

I forgot to give you revision information. This is a "Ruyage UV9D"
The version information:
CHIRP next-20231108 on Python 3.8.2 wxPython 4.2.0 osx-cocoa (phoenix) wxWidgets 3.2.0 (MACOS CATALINA)

You also forgot to attach your debug.log file. Have you tried Radtel RT-470L, RT-470X, Hiroyasu HI-8811, Anysecu UV-A37, Talkpod A36plus or Abbree AR730. Plus you have to have a working connection between the radio and computer.

Never mind. I was thinking of the RT-470, not RT-490. But a debug.log would be helpful.
