Description

Having an issue with programing this radio. There is no way to adjust the STEP on the radio I believe that rugged locks this feature from the consumer? also, no SETTINGS tab under memories?

Even downloading the radio image from the radio I can't even make a channel name change to the channels that were pre-programmed and I get the same error message?

"Error setting memory: Frequency requires 12.50kHz step"

So every time I try to add a frequency I am getting this message. and I also can't even make any edits to the channels that were pre-programmed on the radio without getting the same message.

Is there any way you guys can make it so chirp isn't checking for the required 12.50khz step and it will just allow me to enter and flash the frequency to the radio?

Thanks for your time

Same issue here. The Rugged RH5R-V2 is clearly derived from the Baofeng UV-5R series, for which CHIRP already supports the options menu, 12.5kHz steps, and Duplex "off" assuredly block TX where needed.

Attaching a stock Rugged Radios RH5R-V2 image which contains 12.5kHz stepped frequencies for reference.
