This radio is really bizarre, so I'm not quite sure what the right thing to do here is. I'm going to go with "whatever makes it behave like you think it should" since you're closer to it and more familiar with how it operates.

Attached is a modified driver file to test. Please test it both on memories created with the software, as well as memories created on the radio and see if it behaves properly. Note that it does not have the change being tested in the other bug, so don't get them confused.

Thanks for your patience on this...

This seems to have helped the uploads somewhat, I got the new memory channels loaded. There's still some oddities when I download then upload or upload then upload, whatever it does a few times in a row I seem to have to pull the USB and re-plug it. Might have been a driver issue too, not really sure..
Also, and I figure this isn't necessarily new-ticket worthy since it's all about upload/download with the vxa-700, but it seems like sometimes Chirp tries to tell the radio to initiate the upload or download, but that never seems to work well, so if you can have it set up to wait for the user to press the button on the radio that would be better.
Here's the latest debug, it's pretty big, as I had to pull and re-plug the USB a few times to get it to work.

Perhaps this one can be choked up to a fluke, in all my testing today for the other three tickets I haven't seen a single issue downloading memories using whatever modules is in 20130307 daily.

I'm not sure, I'll find the radio and give it a try.
