Description

Kenwood TK-880 and TK-880H UHF radios (25 and 40 watts, respectively) which are FCC Part 95 approved for GMRS usage (462/467 mHz). If it's not too difficult, adding support for TK-780/780H should be "easy". Kenwood TK-760 and -860 family of radios are already supported by CHIRP, and I'm guessing the TK-880 series are similar. The existing Kenwood propriety software only runs under MS-Windows, not Linux or Apple OSx. I am unable to contribute to the programming effort, but I will loan a radio and programming cable to the developers.

Is anyone working on this. With the popularity of this unit, I'd hope someone would be interested in working on it.
