- Status changed from New to Feedback
This is the type of question that should be asked in the chirp_users mailing list.
There doesn't appear to be any OEM programming software available yet, so I'm going to take a guess and say no, it isn't supported.

This appears to be a clone of the IC-2820. Will be receiving this week and will test / verify.

I am adding a bump here for this radio

I too would love to see support for this radio. If the developers require a radio to achieve this I will go and pull it out of my truck and send it to them as soon as I hear from them.
Thank you for Chirp, I really do appreciate this software and want to contribute to it.

Is there any hope to add Zastone D9000 to Chirp? It would be outstanding. The software Zastone provides is not very good.

Have you tried to communicate with the radio using Chirp settings for an Icom IC-2820, as suggested above? Let us know.

Sorry for the delayed response.
Using the IC-2820 does not work communicating with the zastone d9000

@Bernard Hailer, I can loan equipment to make this happen too, if needed, and if the timing is OK.
I have tried many other CHIRP settings to attempt communications, to no avail.

@Bernard Hailer: Is there any hope of Zastone D9000 support being added to Chirp?
Updated by Bernhard Hailer about 3 years ago
This depends on whether there's a developer interested in taking the task.
Sorry, I currently can't.

However, if the line in the original request
It's a derivative of the , Btech UV-50x3, Vero Telecom VR-6600 PRO , Yaesu FTM-350 line.
is true, then you could try one of these settings in Chirp and see whether it works:
Maker: BTech
Model: UV-5X3
or
Maker: Yaesu
Model: FTM-350
Let us know whether it works for you!

I took a quick look at the "read-dump.txt" file and I think is it safe to say the ZASTONE D9000 not a "derivative" of the BTECH UV-50X3 or any other CHIRP supported model.

I'm joining it.
We desperately need support for the D9000.
The factory application (HPG-68D ...) is horrible and almost unusable compared to CHIRP.

I too am very interested in getting the D9000 on CHIRP.....
