Bug #121
closedYaesu FT-857 band limits are incorrect
0%
Description
Marco, a user reported this:
In the Model_Support.html under BANDS;
The Yaesu 817 , 857, and 897 are all set to the 817 band plan (137.000000-154.000000 MHz* in particular).
The FT-857D has a 164 MHz limit.. Hence CHIRP will not allow a freq above 154 MHz on the FT-857D .
I can load the frequencies of the marine band in by hand from the front of the radio... It will download them fine, re-upload them, but not allow them to be entered in from CHIRP or changed - so it is a question of ban edge differences in the 817 vs 857/897. The weather channels are also above 154 MHz as some fire and rescue ----
There are slight differences:
For FT-857D (NOT widebanded)
Frequency Range: Receive:
0.1-56, 76-108, 118-164 and 420-470 MHz
Is there a reason you chose 154MHz as the upper limit? Is that a difference between the US and International version?
