Description

In the current setup CHIRP complains if the NOAA weather channels are added to the radio (see attached config)

The radio supports having these channels on it, and you can see that as the config was made in the official kenwood software.

Yeah, the driver is set to enforce the TX limits even if the radio can lock on a wider range. Attached is a module to try with LoadingTestModules that expands this. Please test and report.

  1. Downloaded config fresh from radio
  2. Loaded module
  3. Error continues to persist when pasting in NOAA channels

Note: When I tried loading the module by swaping steps 1 & 2 it was erroring each time. I will upload a second log with that in a moment, posting this direct in chirp to try out that fancy feature!
