Bug #11889
closedUnable to upload to ft-70d

Description
(Describe what you were doing)
I am updateing my ft-70d with new repeaters. I was able to download from the radio fine. I put the radio back into adms and put it in wait for rx hit ok. Then I would immediately get a "radio failed to ack block 1" error.
(Describe what you expected to happen)
it should have hit rx completed and been done uploading.
(Describe what actually happened instead)
chirp errored out.
(Has this ever worked before? New radio? Does it work with OEM software?)
I eventual gave up on my current new pc and new chirp and got my old pc with a old version of chirp and it programmed just fine. The version of chirp that worked was "CHIRP next-20240901 on python 3.10.8 wxPython 4.2.0 msw (phoenix) wxWidgets 3.2.0)". I guess it could be a driver error but I am unsure. please help. I would like my new PC to be able to update my ft-70d.

This is a Duplicate of #10473
Can you please comment there about the version that reliably works, and also attach a debug log of you uploading with that version? Once you do I'll follow up there.
