Bug #11881
openTYT TH-350 settings issues
0%
Description
Hello,
The Chirp homepage lists the TYT-350 HT as previously supported, and questionable under Chirp-Next, asking owners to report success or issues with the radio - so I am reporting issues.
A cursory test run with my TH-350 turned up a couple issues, I am certain there are others:
- The radio has a triple display, after loading it with a number of repeater, the third line on the display was showing a frequency I didn't program, and the setting had no provision to define how to display the "C" line (freq/name)
- The Settings Test Mode Settings screen had every VHF and UHF squelch setting at 255 (that just seems wrong)
I didn't look much further, but I suspect there are other issues.
I'm happy to do a more rigorous investigation into the radio if someone is interested in correcting the radio in Chirp.

Hi Ken,
The asterisk on the front page is in error, so thanks for pointing that out. The asterisk is specifically for "hasn't been tested/converted/confirmed for chirp-next". This radio has been, but it had not been marked for the tested list. So I will at least make that change so it will be correctly reflected after the next build.
The other issues you mention should be resolvable by a developer with the radio (not me) so I'll leave this open for them to use when they do. They weren't correct in legacy either (AFAICT), so nothing specific to -next.
Thanks!
