closedTYT TH-350 settings issues

Description
Hello,
The Chirp homepage lists the TYT-350 HT as previously supported, and questionable under Chirp-Next, asking owners to report success or issues with the radio - so I am reporting issues.
A cursory test run with my TH-350 turned up a couple issues, I am certain there are others:
- The radio has a triple display, after loading it with a number of repeater, the third line on the display was showing a frequency I didn't program, and the setting had no provision to define how to display the "C" line (freq/name)
- The Settings Test Mode Settings screen had every VHF and UHF squelch setting at 255 (that just seems wrong)
I didn't look much further, but I suspect there are other issues.
I'm happy to do a more rigorous investigation into the radio if someone is interested in correcting the radio in Chirp.

- Subject changed from Issues in Chirp-Next to TYT TH-350 settings issues
Hi Ken,
The asterisk on the front page is in error, so thanks for pointing that out. The asterisk is specifically for "hasn't been tested/converted/confirmed for chirp-next". This radio has been, but it had not been marked for the tested list. So I will at least make that change so it will be correctly reflected after the next build.
The other issues you mention should be resolvable by a developer with the radio (not me) so I'll leave this open for them to use when they do. They weren't correct in legacy either (AFAICT), so nothing specific to -next.
Thanks!

(Describe what you were doing)
Running Chirp from commit: bc27f6653aa804a5c55a3a1b2244ee43a174854b (2025-04-01)
I recent purchased an brand new TYT TH-350 and was trying to program repeaters into its memory.
(Describe what you expected to happen)
- Chirp upload my standard frequency memory list to TYT TH-350 and refer to those memory by name.
(Describe what actually happened instead)
- I only see options for configuring the "A" and "B" lines for freq, name, or channel. Missing "C" line since it has three frequencies displayed
- All entries in the memory are only showing up as the frequency no matter what I confirm in the options for the various A-C lines. Id like to see them as the names but that does not seem to be working.
(Has this ever worked before? New radio? Does it work with OEM software?)
I dont know since this is the first time Ive used Chirp with this radio.

Rob, please open a new issue (sounds like more of a feature request) for your thing. It's unrelated to this report that Ken made about the website incorrectly indicating that this radio was not ready for -next. I meant to close it a month ago.

Thanks Dan, I actually realized that my revision of this radio was the TYT TH-350 US. So it actually works for loading my entries into the radio by name now :)
However I did open a new issue related to the settings since Im currently unable to access those: https://www.chirpmyradio.com/issues/11948
Thank you for the help!
