Description
(Describe what you were doing) Opening CHIRD Program for the first time
Expected to Read the radio
Received the following message "Radio returned unknown identification string")
(Has this ever worked before? New radio? Does it work with OEM software?) The CHIRP program works on my Arcshell AR-6, and Retcvis H777. The Talkpod is a new (to me) radio. It seems to transmitt to the other radios, just does not work on CHIRP.

Please rename and edit the attached 'text' file to match your radio and note here the differences that you encountered. Such as if a menu was removed, changed position or new menus added. Also notice if any menu choices have changed. Such as choices removed, added or position changed.
I have also attached a driver module that you need to load into CHIRP and use to see if you can download from your radio. Not if there are any error messages or any settings that show up with errors. If you are successful at downloading, attach the unedited CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file to this issue.

Oops sorry, pushed the wrong button. Anyway I am just starting this hobby. I was a radio operator in the USC in “71 to ’74. Then Avionic until “92. Then a cop from 93 to 07. Thought this could be an interesting and useful hobby.
