Dear CHIRP Development Team:
I request that the CHIRP team consider adding support for the Retevis C1. I recognize that there was another request #11690 for this radio; however, I am opening a new issue to make clear in the subject line that I have a C1 radio and a programming cable that I am willing to ship once there are development hours available to work on this. Thank you for your patience with this.

If and when the development team can work on this, please advise so that I can ship the equipment.

Please do NOT open duplicate issues per the IssueInstructions you indicated you read. Doing so creates more paperwork for the development team and works only to get you less attention, not more. Please feel free to post your offer on the other issue in case any developers are interested.

Hi Dan -
Thanks for the email. Yes I did read the rules as I mentioned. My concern here is that your issue system sorts issues by "Equipment Loan/Gift Offered" and I cannot change that other issue to "Yes". This means that the other issue is massively deprioritized, and my offer of a radio will likely never be seen. Can you please help me understand whether this is still the best approach.

No, the system does not sort by that field. It's purely informational and I'm not sure that anyone has ever made a decision based on it. Feel free to make your comment on the other bug and I will flip the value of the field for you.
