Description

I am running CHIRP next-20240502 on Python 3.10.11 wxPython 4.2.0 osx-cocoa (phoenix) wxWidgets 3.2.0
I downloaded an img from the Quansheng running Egzumer v0.22
I pasted the changes to the newly downloaded file
When I try to re-upload the changed file, the dialog box Vendor Quansheng is grayed out / Model UV-K5 egzumer is grayed out.
Even if I don't make changes to the file, I am unable to re-upload it to the radio.

Yeah, this is how it's supposed to look. When you're uploading an image, you have to upload it to the same type of radio it came from. The things are greyed out because you can't change them - they're already set to the required values. If you just hit OK it should upload.

only the first time I tried reading my Quansheng UV-K5 with EGZUMER V0.22 FIRMWARE chirp read it, then after that all I get when trying to read is a blank screen, I did upload the egzumer module .py succefully from the first time and each time I trying reading the radio but wont read

Ralf, I'm not sure what module you're loading, but I can't help you with it if it's not from chirp itself. CHIRP supports the egzumer firmware natively without any extra modules. Are you perhaps loading a very old module that is no longer needed?

Either way, this issue is about uploading and the original reporter being (I assume) confused about what they're seeing in the upload box. Different from what you seem to be describing.
