Description

After making some programming changes to my UV-9G, either save or save as yesterday and then file open it does not recognize the file. It looks like it created the files as a "23 file" and not as a Disc Image. I have attached both files for reference.

Update. I just tried a new save, but this time did add anything to the file name and I was able to open it. I tried it a couple of times and seems to work now.

Hey Gerry,

CHIRP did the right thing, but the name you gave the file is confusing windows about what file type it actually is. Since you removed the .img, it looks at the last period in the name and uses everything after that as the extension (and file type). Since you ended it with ".23" it thinks that's the file type. You can just rename it to add the .img and it should work, or as you note, make sure not to remove the .img in the future.
