In radio, when setting MDF to NAME, if the channel name is not set, it will show up as if it is set to CHAN, and shows CH-XXX aligned to the center.
In CHIRP, when setting 'Name' to STRING of channel X, the radio will display STRING aligned to the left when set to channel X.
In CHIRP, I changed a memory from AM mode to FM mode, not touching the 'Name'. However, after uploading, the radio displays a blank name instead of the channel number. I then touched a random parameter of another unnamed memory, and the radio also displays a blank name on the touched memory as well.
