Bug #10661
closedRadioddity GA-510: NEW CHIP
0%
Description
Good evening,
Per Radioddity, some batches of the GA-510 are shipping with a "new chip" that prevents them from being programmed via Chirp.
From Radioddity support:
The new batch of GA-510 has a new chip, and it is not currently able to re-adapt the Chirp by updating the firmware. If you need to program the GA-510, please program it via CPS. Hope for your understanding.
The GA-510 comes with another new radio chip, so we changed the CPS settings to adapt. Hope for your understanding.
Issues #10620 and #10597 are open, but those are for an issue, not a new version. This appears to be a new version.

I'm sure they're a result of getting the new revision of the radio, We really need to close one in favor of #10600, which you've already seen. Let's mark these all as a dupe of that. You should continue to comment on that bug, please don't open other new ones it will not help get it resolved any faster.
