Can you attach your radio image (.img file)?

The .py driver file for the Baojie. When looking at the github masters, I was unable to locate the driver...

Mark,

Would you test the attached test driver?

Here is how you would test it.

  1. Download and save the lt725uv_10210-1.py test driver to a convenient location
  2. Click Help and then enable Developer Mode
  3. Restart CHIRP for the change to take effect
  4. Click File -> Load Mode
  5. Locate and load the test driver that was saved in step 1

Now you should be able to load and edit your CHIRP image file. Test and provide feedback.

Hi Jim

Seems to be working now.

I have made a couple of minor changes to the BJ-318 driver.

  1. Added two new colors ( brown and yellow)
  2. Changed Volume to 15
  3. Modified the Radio information slightly

I think it can be rolled into the baseline testing...

Mark,

I will make a submission to get the settings tab to display. We will need another ticket to do the updates since they are related to the scope of the original ticket. Did you want to open that ticked and then make the submission of you changes or do you want me to submit your changes as well?

Also, you made a comment in the structure about the "bvol" volume going up to level 15 but you didn't update the range of the upper/lower "Volume" settings themselves.

Thanks Mark. Are you going to submit the changes or do you want me to submit them? I am good with it either way.

Would you pull them in when you think it is convieient? People using the BJ-318 are in the disctinct minority, and they can always load the driver under developer - I think sorting out the emegernet issues for the most commonly used radio's is probably the better use of time...
