NO no funciona con ningún modelo de la marca TYT, tampoco Kenwood
DOES NOT work with any TYT brand model, not Kenwood either

En este caso, vuelva a seleccionar TYT TH-UVF1 en Chirp y copie un registro de depuración como se describe en el Wiki "How To Report Issues". ¡Gracias!

Windows notes: If you are using a generic cable with a Prolific chip, you will very likely need to downgrade your driver to version 3.2.0.0.

MacOS notes: this OS is apparently very picky about USB to Serial cables. From what I heard, only (genuine) FTDI-based cables can be made work.
On older MacOS versions, you must have the KK7DS Python runtime for Mac OSX installed. I don't have information yet what to do on new versions (like Big Sur).
Big Sur is a problem on its own, because basically all USB drivers need to be rewritten. FTDI is still working on it.

Linux notes: Linux generally is quite good with USB to Serial converter drivers. The most likely cause for grief is a connector which doesn't provide good electrical contact.
Bluetooth notes: connections often suffer from timing issues, please try a cable instead.

te comento que disinstale los drivers y controladores de la PC y estube tratando de instalar los indicados en la pagina pero no es posible, tanto en win7 como win10 me queda en conflicto y no se puede iniciar el dispositivo, el cable que tengo es uno original de BAOFENG con los drivers que me trajo el CD me funciona perfectamente en WIN10, de echo los actualice recientemente y sigue funcionando normalmente ya que programo 2 equipos baofeng diferentes modelos sin problema, te voy adjuntar print de como me aparece el dispositivo y el drivers que tiene instalado.

Entonces posiblemente este cable no sea compatible con MaxLog M-UV (o TYT TH-UVF1). O posiblemente el conector no encaja muy bien en el enchufe de la radio. El registro deja en claro que la radio no responde: parece que no escucha lo que Chirp le dice que haga.
Then possibly this cable isn't compatible with the MaxLog M-UV (or TYT TH-UVF1). Or possibly the connector doesn't fit the socket in the radio very well. The log makes clear that the radio does not respond: it appears not to hear what Chirp tells it to do.
