Description
Habe das Gerät neu erworben und wollte wie schon beim 5R munter mit Chirp loslegen. Aber leider Fehlanzeige. Gerät ist nicht auf der Liste der unterstützten Geräte. Was mach mer jetzt?
Purchased this new device and wanted to use Chirp as before with the UV-5R. Unfortunately to no avail. The device isn't on the list of supported radios. What to do now?

Versuchen Sie die Baofeng-Treiber für BF-F8HP oder UV-5R. Wenn das nicht klappt, dann wäre ein debug.log hilfreich, siehe Wiki: "How To Report Issues".

UV-5R funktioniert insoweit, dass die Kanäle programmiert werden können. COM3 verwendet. COM4 produziert Fehler.
Habe noch nicht geprüft, ob das UV-10R noch weitergehende Einstellungen ermöglicht.
Anscheinend gibt es mehr Speicherplätze. Startfrequenz für FM-Empfang mit Programmierung funktioniert ebenfalls.
UV-5R works to the extent that the channels can be programmed. I used COM3. COM4 produces errors.
Have not yet checked whether the UV-10R allows further settings.
Apparently there are more channels. Start frequency for FM reception with programming also works.

Der COM-Port wird nicht vom Radio bestimmt, das ist Sache des USB-Kabels.
Das UV-10R hat 128 Kanäle, genau wie das UV-5R.
Ok, dann werden wir das Gerät in unsere Liste "Supported Radios" aufnehmen und schließen dieses Ticket.
Sollte sich noch ein Unterschied ergeben, dann kann das dann immer noch hier gepostet werden.
The COM port isn't created by the radio, that's done by the USB cable.
The UV-10R has 128 channels, exactly like the UV-5R.
Alright, we'll add the device to our list of Supported Radios and close this ticket.
