Description

Had old version of CHIRP 20140717 running on my MAC using El Capitan 10.11.6. I had terrible time downloading the new version. I finally installed Runtime and changed the Security & Privacy settings in my system Preferences. Finally got the new download however, It would not install. I moved the new download to the trash, only THEN did the ZIP file appear in the trash . After the ZIP appeared in the trash, I took it out of the trash to the Desktop and finally got an install on my MAC. EXCEPT, the new version DID NOT replace the old version. I had to move old version, CHIRP 20140717 to the trash and move the new version to my Applications Folder. In other words, after downloading the new version I had BOTH versions on my Mac, OLD and NEW. Any idea why I had such a hard time downloading and installing? I haven't used this version of CHIRP yet so I don't really know if it will connect to my transceiver .
