Description
Chirp cannot connect with TK-760G.
Error message: Incorrect model ID, got m7600T\FB\F1, it not contains M7600
With Kenwood KPG67D under dosbox I can read and write to the radio.
Error log below.

Hummm...
The model returns: m7600T, the most close model is the "M7600T": 128 CH, 148-174MHz, sub type "NE" for kenwood
I processed all the radios in that family using the KPG56D (windows version) I have no idea that the KPG67D can handle it, I will look to find a working copy of the KPG67D and will give it a try.
The case of the letter "m" is not trivial, it can sign for a feature or even a latest model, who knows...
Thanks for the report, I will try to process it on the weekend.

The radio can Tx at 144 - 146 MHz so I suppose it is a 760G K2 type. However to program it with KPG67D software, I select TK-760G(N)E as there is no menu choice for K2. While TK-760G(N)E starts from 146 MHz.

KPG56D on Windows10 doesn't accept the radio either. Error messg 'Please check radio type'. I tried all types available in the menu, without succes.
