Unfortunately no fix for that right now, but it does remind me that I should look at it..."
Help me out here, someone?
1) There's a good reason for closing duplicates: we want to ensure that feedback to an issue stays in one place only. It is very cumbersome to search for details about a problem when it's scattered over multiple instances in a database of 3500+ records. It's also easier for you, the user, to find a solution to something which has already been resolved before. But yes, you would need to look into that database first, before you post. This isn't asked too much, is it?
2) Also, please keep in mind that Chirp is a volunteer effort. New problems or questions require a volunteer with spare time and experience with the corresponding part in the code to work on it. This may not happen overnight - especially not when the request is made in a rude manner: personal attacks have no business here.
Now to your question. Your original post doesn't really tell us what you're asking; and in the context, the added log file is not helpful. Your comment above suggest that part of your inquiry is about system requirements. The Chirp download page tells you that Chirp runs on various flavors of Windows, Linux, or MacOS. So you just need a machine with one of these operating systems on it. Some folks even run it on a Raspberry Pi. I hope this answers your question?
