Description

Firmware BFB297

DCS settings are not working at all, setting different offsets and different DCS receive, transmit causes, radio to use 1 or the other for both settings

setting up dcs transmit-ctss receive, makes radio not set anything in ctss or dcs

changing anything DCS wise in edit memory causes a red no'no saying is not in valid list

can provide whatever is needed

Let me clarify better.

After playing around this does work, but it does not work in the edit memory section, any change to the dcs value causes the red no'no

cut and paste does not work

the paste works, but it does not remove the old entry's simply grays them out

since this is not an enhancement i will i guess track it here

why in the world are there default values set for ctss dcs etc 88.5 and 023??????

why are these not null values or simply indicated as off?

make cross referencing a nightmare when looking at???

also csv sheets, why can't we make a blank Baofeng csv? the generic one leaves alot of columns out that you can't add???

i would like to see blank Baofeng csv's. i sometimes use unique images per radio

outside of this program works quite well

The baofeng radio is (internally) unlike most others in the world. CHIRP was designed before these radios showed up, and the UI has to cater to all the radios it supports, not just the UV5R.

That being said, View->Hide Unused Values is probably what you want to see.

Jim, do you want to take a look at this? Thanks :)

Dan,
Yep. I can duplicate what John is talking about. I'll probably need help but I think I know where I can get it. :)
