Bug #4955
openICom ID-880h CL ERR
0%
Description
I installed the 20170618 daily build (it was the newest build that I could find the matching SHA1SUM for even though the 20160627 version was available) of chirp on an Arch Linux system. I was able to successfully program a Baofeng UV-5RV2 and a Kenwood TH-F6A with it. I could connect to the radio and successfully download and save the image stored in the radio, however attempting to upload the image fails with a 'CL ERR' on the radio display and then upon a power reset it says "CLEARED" and all the memory locations are erased. During the cloning process, it displays CL IN and then the error message at the end. Unlike bug #3717. it does not hang during the process. This does seem to possibly be similar to bug#4871 but whether or not it is the same I can't say for certain.
I am able to program the device using the ICom software and uploading a clone image says "CL END" and the end of the process. It acts as if there is some sort of verification that is failing at the end.
