Feature #3935
openFrequency limits alignment

Description
No Hurry, just a wish! For Baofeng UV-5R/UV-5RA and UV-82 you can define the frequency-limits (frequency-span), so, I would like the limits given in the technical setup section being used as the actual limits when you define the given channels frequencies.
E.i. I have raised the upper UHF limit from 520Mhz to 522Mhz :-) but is not allowed to enter frequencies above 520Mhz in the channel-list (Baofeng original spec.).
For the moment I program with a random frequency and the correct name and other settings, upload it to the radio and re-program and save the correct frequency via the keyboard.
Is it something I can do by my-self? Moving some parameters? (I'm only an old-school embedded assembler programmer with start in 1974 and to >2010).
Best Regards and thanks for the (in generel) well function program

I'm unsure whether this is a useful option. The radios have these limits for a reason: some may allow widening the range a bit, some won't work at all. Many of the (Baofeng) radios in questions may seem to allow opening the TX range, but you may find that they are actually not transmitting useful signals or not transmitting at all.
