Description

I'm on OS X 10.11, using a USB programming cable with a UV5R. I've had this problem with 0.4.0 and also daily.

When I download from the radio, it seems to download and then maybe even show the results for an instant, but then crashes the app. Attached are the outputs of the terminal when I run it from there, as well as my debug log. It appears to be calling .split on a NullObject.

I tried it on two radios. Same result with each.

  • Status changed from New to Feedback
  • Model affected changed from (All models) to Baofeng UV-5RE, UV-5R+
  • Platform changed from Windows to MacOS

Have you tried with a recent version since you submitted this?

I couldn't really find anything helpful in the log, but since you're using a Mac, it could be caused by a USB to Serial driver. Does any of these documents help?

Closing this issue, it is unclear whether this is an OS issue or anything else. No more feedback by submitter.
