Description

Starting with a saved factory clone image or a fresh factory clone of a UV-5R I6, I am unable to import a csv file of memory presets into the cloned file. In CHIRP daily build 20150513 and 20150502 this is occurring.

This seems similar and possibly related to Issue Report 2585 where the power field is not being exported in a csv file and seems to be being ignored in import.

I am seeing this one too. UV-5R version BFB297. I didn't see it on any prior version. Any solution coming?

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

The CHIRP CSV import/export feature does not support power levels. The supported fields are...

Location,Name,Frequency,Duplex,Offset,Tone,rToneFreq,cToneFreq,DtcsCode,DtcsPolarity,Mode,TStep,Skip,Comment,URCALL,RPT1CALL,RPT2CALL

Not all fields are used by all radio brands/models.

Jim,

I am having the same problem. Do you have a solution of how to get around this issue or am I going to have to bite the bullet and manually re-enter all the fields? Thanks for any help you may provide.
