Description

(Describe what you were doing)
I was adding a new repeater from repeaterbook and misclicked in the Filter field. After that, Chirp stopped responding.

(Describe what you expected to happen)
I expected to be able to click out of the filter field and go back to using Chirp.

(Describe what actually happened instead)
The only thing I could do with Chirp was click the 'syntax' link, which correctly opened in my default browser.
Then I had to use the OS to quit chirp. I right-clicked the window in the taskbar and then 'close'

(Has this ever worked before? New radio? Does it work with OEM software?)
Filter is new to me. I recently updated from 20241206 to 20241227. I've never used the filter feature.

Hmm, yeah, I can reproduce here. I dunno what GTK is doing so differently from the other platforms. I guess I'll just disable that feature on Linux for now.
