I have tested these module in two Baofeng BF-T20D radios and the settings I use are working. Reads correctly, writes correctly, the radios communicate properly between them and also with other different radio from other brand that I have [program them for the PMR446 frequencies (I'm in European Union)].
I don't have the official programming software from Baofeng (not available anywhere, I'm trying to get from vendor and from the manufacturer but no luck until now) so I can't verify if there are other options and/ or settings that could/ should be available.

I uploaded the original software to https://archive.org/details/baofeng-gmsk-v1.4.4, with a patch to disable the band limitations in Europe and America.
It can change more settings than CHIRP. While I know where each field in the image dump is, I haven't had time to make another PR with them.
