Description

I just learned that you can adjust the squelch value for all 9 levels for the UV5R, so I did it to mine and it worked wonder. Then I was trying to adjust it for the UV25 and found that it was missing that in the settings. I read on reddit that someone reported something to chirp and the respond was there within 2 days. That gave me the hope, and that is why I am requesting this on the next update to make the UV25 usable with the new squelch adjustment!

CHIRP can only support settings that the radio supports. The majority of radios don't support this capability. The UV-5R like radios (128 channels with LCD display) are an exception.

Ok thanks, I was just checking to see if something could be done like
the UV5R, since this is also a baofeng, UV25.

Another thing missing is the UV25 can do high mid and low power, while
chirp is missing the mid power option. Maybe you can add that back in
like the UV5R-XP and that would be great..!
