Cannot open the USB cable to read the data, tried 3 different types of cables for programming with chirp. Just received the 3rd USB programming cable and I'm using Windows 7, any older windows driver available? 73 de N2OBS

I'm confused about this report. Do you mean the BF-R3, which is already supported? You opened this as a new model request, but you appear to be reporting what you think is a bug. Also, the current version of chirp is not supported on Windows 7, so we won't be able to help you either way. Please clarify if I should change this to a bug report or if you are actually requesting support for a new model.
