Description

I am using Chirp to try and query data for radio reference. I have tried various zip codes 83705, 38261, 42050 and the new tab opens, the progress bar loads and the text above the progress bar shows items it is loading in. However, once done all the fields are still blank and the "query" tab does not update with the information. If I click and try to view raw data for a line it seems like the information is there but it is not loading anything. If I save as csv and open in excel I get nothing.

I can pull from repeater book, I do have a radioreference premium sub, I get no error messages at all and it seems like it finishes normally it just does not show the information.

I did successfully use CHIRP to put in stuff for my baofeng UV082HP and had no issues, but this is separate. As I tried to query both with and without the radio connected.
I also checked on radioreference forums with no luck on resolution
I also toggled developer mode on and off
Closed and reopened CHIRP and tested
Issue persists

screen shot attached is after trying to query 10001 (New York) zip code

FWIW, your debug log is empty. Please follow How_To_Report_Issues in the future: capture a debug log after reproducing the problem, before exiting chirp.

It looks like radioreference has broken their API recently. This was working just a few days ago, but as of today it's returning "None" for all the modes (i.e. FM, AM, etc). Since I know this was working a few days ago, I suspect this may be temporary so it might be resolved at some point. Either way, I don't think this is a chirp bug.

Let's check back in a few days and see if it is resolved.

RadioReference fixed the issue on their end so this should be resolved now. It seems to work for me.
