Description

I wish to download all FM repeaters on 2m and 70cm in the Melbourne, Australia area. I used the command sequence Radio | QuerySource | Repeaterbook. Filled in a Lat/Lon and Distance. I then selected "Limit Bands". The only options offered were 10m, 6m and 2m.

There was no option for 70cm.

I expected there to be an option to select 70cm and 23cm.

You mean you can't filter the 70cm repeaters, right? If you don't enable the band filter you should get all of them.

Either way, this is because you've selected the australian (or some other) band plan, which in CHIRP doesn't know about the 70cm band. I can use this bug to try to fix it myself from the published edges. It's a long-standing gap for non-US users. One workaround would probably be to just select the US band plan before you go to do your query if you really want/need to filter just that band.

No, I mean I can't select 70cm, i.e. I can't include that band. It's not a matter of filtering.

Actually, Yes. I see what you mean. With no band filter I get everything. Trouble is, the vast majority of HT only support 2m/70cm, so I'd like to be able to filter for these 2 bands only. I tried selecting the US, and I still have the issue - the only band options are 10m, 6m and 2m, so the problem affects all countries I assume.

No, it doesn't affect all countries:

As I mentioned, you can switch to the NA band plan and you should get all the options. I have to flesh out the Australian one in order for it to show those.
