Description

Dear Sirs,
I have a problem in that the file that I download from my radio shows errors on a number of lines (about 100 in all). The frequencies involved are working on the radio (Yeasu FT8900).
I first noticed it on Chirp Daily 20200718 and having just installed Chirp Next 20231016 I find that the problem still exists and is in the same positions irrespective of the version used [see attached files]
I'm sorry I don't know where to find the debug log.
How can I get a full listing of my radios frequency usuage (some 500 entries)?

regards
Bernard J Greatrix
Incidentally I also have a Baofeng radio from which I can access all the entries

Please provide an indication of "this is what the error memories should show" for some of the errors. The errors mean we're not interpreting the memory data properly, but without access to one of these radios, it's nearly impossible to tell what the radio thinks the memory should be and thus what we should be doing. There's something about those that are different. Weird tone modes? Weird frequency step? Some feature enabled? Different mode (AM/FM), etc.

Dear Sir,
Please find attached a few lines that are missing.
I've only given the opening columns as the rest are as translated by chirp and appear to be correct.

Locations 29-37 are not used (but show as error, curiously locations 30, 33 and 36 are listed with data but are missing from my radio) Likewise locations 185-251 are not used but have entries that my radio doesn't have.
I suspect some of these are throwbacks to the radio mine was cloned from.

I can build an Excel spreadsheet of the entries I would like but I'm not sure what the column headers should be as there is a variation between the two version of Chirp that I have (eg one shows power levels and the other doesn't)and Chirp didn't accept my attempts

regards
Bernard
