Description

This is a well respected 2m/70cms/23cms base all mode transceiver.
It used the optional IF-232C interface for computer control. This plugged into ACC1. The IF-232C interface level shifted to send CAT controls to and from the radio at TTL level and at 4800 baud.
The TS-790 has 59 programmable memories. I am not aware of any exiting memory programming software for this radio.
Command 'MW' performs the function Memory Write as described in page 47 of the owners manual and page 15 in more detail in the TS-790A/E External Control Instruction Manual (attached).

Please don't attach copyrighted material to the bug reports. Even if they are freely downloadable, you almost certainly don't have permission to redistribute them, and neither do we. It can place the CHIRP project at liability.

From the manual, it looks like this radio works just like almost all the other live-mode radios, so extending kenwood_live.py would likely be trivial for someone with access to a radio.
