Please consider the Midland LMR "Titan" radio, both Low Band, VHF, UHF for CHIRP inclusion. It was (may may still be) been in production for years now...and these radios will probably continue to be available for a few more years. This radio has been and is common in the Commercial, Public Safety, Amateur, Marine, GMRS, Railroad community, many people are obtaining and using these now for Amateur and GMRS when they become available as Public Safety upgrades to P25..... These radios have 100 to 320 channels for proggramming and work very well for the bands (all) they were designed for.... I have a radio for loan, and will assemble a cable if you take the project, I am sure Midland uses a known memory format that should be easy to convert for Chirp use.... As the owner and CEO of USA GMRS Association I can tell you I use several of these daily as do others that are part of our industry... Thanks, William R Howell Canton, Texas WQYX489, GMRS Licensed
