Description

Hi, I'm trying to program a Baofeng UV-10R, following danplanet's instructions.
I configure to use BF-F8HP 3 power levels- I think it's configuring tx in high power mode, I've tried to put it x with the 3 key or moving the menu to high-. I also turn the volume to maximun. I can't connect, the driver sees the cable on com4, but I always get the error "radio did not respond". Any hint or suggestion?

You don't have a working connection between the computer and radio. For example, remove the 2-pin plug from the radio and attempt a download. The error message will be the same.

If your programming cable has a Prolific type chip, you must download, install and select the older Prolific v3.2.0.0 driver. If your programming cable has a WCH CH340 chip, you may have to download and install the latest driver from the chip vendor. Links to drivers and lots of advice can be found at the "miklor.com":https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php "Cables & Drivers":https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php page.

It may also be due to the 2-pin plug not being fully inserted into the radio's socket. Please review the Miklor "Radio did not respond":https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_ErrorMess.php#error1 FAQ.

I am having the same issue....I have 2 UV-10r Baofengs... neither will connect. I have attempted with two different cables, the latest is a BTECH and both show working properly in Device Manager.
When I attempt to connect to upload the radio to the computer it starts the clone, you can see the screen on the radio change to Programming....then it turns off, turns back on, shows the programming screen again, then shuts off, turns back on and nothing....

I have put close to 30 lbs of pressure on the 2 pin plug while attempting, as well as dampened the pins....

have tried everything I can find online...starting to think it is the radios?
