I am not a programmer so cannot help in any way. sorry
I am a new owner of a Baofeng GM-15PRO.

I saw a YouTube video where the guy ("Noatarubicon") programmed his UV-5R using CHIRP and it looked so easy that I decided to try.

I do not see the GM-15PRO in the list of supported radios, nor did I see it in the list of open issues - in case someone had earlier asked for it to be supported and there was a response that it was supported under another name.
My radio came pre-programmed with GMRS and NOAA weather radio channels, which is 85% of what I wanted, so I am not in extremis here.

Web research says that this radio "looks like a clone of the Radioddity GM-30, TIDRadio TD-H5, Rugged CMRS2 and Pofung P15UV".
Neither of these is yet on the list of Supported Radios.
