Bug #5491
openChanging primary frequency reverts duplex settings
0%
Description
When changing the main frequency for a channel, the duplex settings are reset to some sort of default, requiring the user to notice and correct the error if the primary frequency is changed.
Ex: I am programming 5 channels for a satellite, so I create the first one, copy it five times, and then tweak the downlink frequencies to account for Doppler shift. The uplink frequency and mode is reset as soon as I change the downlink frequency, so "split" mode is changed to "-" and the frequency is set to "0.6000" when it should be "435.8000".
Preferred behavior: Allow the main frequency to be set without changing other settings on the channel being changed.
Bug still exists in the current daily (2018-01-04).

Is this still an issue? Is it a problem with a particular radio (maker/model?), or a generic problem with Chirp?
