Description

Hi all I've been going mad trying all solutions throughout this site and cannot for the life of me get CHIRP to read from my QYT KT-7900D.
I have read through the btech.py and noticed after reading the version name from the packaged disc that the is for the radio I have is
Model: QYT790
MCU-Version: VC4284

Would this be why chirp is not reading and I am getting errors for radio ID?

Can this ID be changed or is there a firmware to correct this?

Thanks
