Description

I'm trying Chirp and TH-F7E but I can't do it.

Chirp daily-20170307. Windows 10. USB-RS232. Interface. TH-F7E.

#1. Radio> Download From Radio >Com3,Kenwood, TH-F7 (on)

Then Radio Window is closed and Chirp don't response
Now if I try it again, Chirp say "could not open COM 3: error 5"

With this same configuration "MCP-F6F7" communicates with TH-F7E (I prefer Chirp)

This only happens to me with Kenwood TH-F7E. Chirp works well for me with Baofeng UV-5R and Yaesu VX-3R.

Debug.log is attached.

Has this been resolved?
Would it be possible that your cable is providing a different COM port than COM3?
Error 5 probably means "Access denied".
