Description

I have seen a number of posts from users who own the QYT KT-8900 radio who are having problems so I tried downloaded as a WACCOM MINI-8900 but I get the error message of "Radio did not enter clone mode".

I'm running OSX El Capitan and my cable seems to be working fine as I can see it in my devices list.

I am also having the same problem. I cant use Chirp or the chinese software as it shows an open communication port. I have deleted and updated all drivers then downgraded the profolic driver of the cable but Chirp says it cant clone radio.

If you have a Prolific chip based programming cable, then you can't use the Prolific driver in El Capitan. It is intentionally incompatible with counterfeit chips. You'll have to purchase a 3rd party signed device driver. I've heard that the one "here":https://www.mac-usb-serial.com/ works.
