Description

Hello, I know there are topics on this already but they didn't seem to help me. I reinstalled chirp and turned off smartscreen (or whatever you call it) and it still will not start for me. I doulbe click the icon and it gives me the loading symbol for like 2 seconds and then goes away and never loads chirp.

Any solutions?

Thanks!

Jake,

It doesn't sound like you have deleted the chirp.config file, though. Windows 10 is famous for corrupting it. When the chirp.config file is corrupt, CHIRP won't launch.

If you delete or rename the chirp.config file, CHIRP will create a new one. The chirp.config file is located in the same folder as the debug.log file. This "How To Report Issues":http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/How_to_report_issues page outlines how to find the debug.log file.
