In Settings> Work Mode Settings>VFO/MR mode. The two choices are Channel and Frequency.
Is it possible to tie the choice of the item "Channel" into the "VFO/MR Switching" checkbox? When the "VFO/MR mode" box is checked "enabled", the Frequency choice could be selected.
When switching from VFO/MR mode is NOT enabled and Work Mode>VFO/MR Mode is in Frequency the radio can be programmed (meaning frequencies uploaded), but the user can't access the programmed frequencies even when selecting Menu 21, MDF-A "Name", the radio is locked into VFO only mode.

It was also somewhat confusing to me to have Channel and Frequency as the only two options, as in Menu 21, MDF-A, there are three choices "Frequency", "Channel" and "Name".
