Description

I have the UV-82HP. when I go into chirp and go to download from radio it pops up an error message that say "radio refused to send block" or it will say "radio not responding". this is the only program I can find that will even come close to programming this radio considering its new. I am in the fire service and i have field programmed the fire frequency in my radio so that does for now but I would like to figure out why this is doing this and try to fix it so i can program more frequiencies with alphanumeric names.

Which version of CHIRP?
Which chip is in your programming cable (look in Device Manager)?
If it is a Prolific type chip, which driver version is installed (look in Device Manager)?

Hi, Make sue your radio is in the MODE required to do this. Most radios have a PC MODE. Your inst book should tell you this
