I read the instructions above:

Description

After upgrading, when I try to download from the radio I get "could not open port /dev/cu.PL2303-00004014: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/cu.PL2303-00004014'." Same for my Yaesu VX-6 and Baofeng UV-82. Both had programmed fine previously. I reinstalled the driver software (for the clone chip, which is what i was using for both radios), and got the same thing.

The driver shows up in the pulldown menu after opening chirp, but if I try another listed driver in the pull down menu and then try to go back the driver disappears until I restart Chirp. I tried both 0.4.0 sf 0.4.1.

Here is what the Terminal gives me: Ron-EarlsMini:~ ronearl$ ls /dev/cu*
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port /dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem /dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART1
/dev/cu.RonsiPodtouch-Wirelessi
Ron-EarlsMini:~ ronearl$

Don' see it listed there.

Driver issues are independent from Chirp. There's nothing we can do about it. You'll have to take this up with the author of the driver / manufacturer of the cable.
