I have tried on 2 different computers and I am unable to read from the 92ad. I used an older version 0.3.1 and it works however .0.4.0 does not. I am using the same cable. WHen I try to download I just get a channel listing with ERROR in the field for name.

I still get the same error with the latest Build, Also the Installer package seams to be broken so I tried the win32.zip file.

So we'll need some more info, please see How_To_Report_Issues and be sure to include a debug log.

Hi Scott, please be sure you are using the daily build: as you can see in the first ow of the debug log you are still using the 0.4.0 version.
You can check version from Chirp going to Help-About menu which should show "CHIRP daily-20140714".
Anyway from the debug log I can confirm you are seeing the very same problem of #1649, I'm pretty sure it's solved in current daily.
