Bug #11893
openNeed to add "analogue" as in KT-9900 with Radio Model to label
0%
Description
There is no menu option under "QYT" for KT-9900.
The KT-WP12 and KT-9900 are essentially the same radio with the same firmware.
The KT-WP12 Option will successfully read and write to the KT-9900; All "Developer Mode" adjustments work with KT-9900 as well :-)
Please readjust Menu option for QYT KP-WP12 to be"KP-WP12 / KT-9900"

CHIRP can't display every known identical named variant separately in the UI. It already includes the QYT KT-WP12 and Anysecu WP-9900 which were donated by a vendor and/or individual for use in development. This is why the Supported Radio Models list on the CHIRP home page includes the following entry...
QYT
- KT-9900 (use KT-WP12)

The KT-WP12 is no longer on the product menu (effectively anywhere) listed by QYT ... Hence why the simple and logical request to add KT-9900 has been requested.
