Description
Today I got my hands on an PNI PMR R10 PRO, but the provided software proved to be buggy on Windows (which the owner used). After some messing around I got it working on my PopOs install using Wine, and after some digging noticed some string in the save file (some ASCII prefix, continued with HEX data), "P3207s", which matched with the Retevis RT21. Other details like the memory size and even software screenshots lined up. After some messing around with Wireshark and USB sniffing, I managed to extract the magic command (if that's the correct term), "PROSRAM", and after plugging that into the source CHIRP was able to read/write it just fine. I only had time to test the freq/CTCSS/DCS, which worked without any issues.
This is my first time submitting to CHIRP, and the manual didn't mention what specifically to include for new models, so I hope this info is useful. In necessary I can provide the PCAPs, exports from the PNI software, and/or the PNI software itself.
